The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), other applicable data protection laws in the Member States of the European Union, and other provisions of a data protection nature is Jörg Reger (contact details as stated above).

2. Collection, Storage, and Transfer of Personal Data as well as Type and Purpose of Their Use

a) When Visiting the Website
When you access this website, information is automatically sent to the server of the website by your browser. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called logfile. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer

  • Date and time of access

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file

  • Website from which the access occurs (referrer URL)

  • Browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your computer

The data mentioned are processed for the following purposes:

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. My legitimate interest follows from the purposes of data collection listed above. The collected data will not be used to draw any conclusions about your person.

b) b) When Contacting via Email
When contacting me by email, your email address and any further contact details provided in your message (e.g., your name or phone number) are stored in order to process your inquiry. The legal basis for storing and processing the data depends on the purpose of the contact: either Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in communicating with prospects). The data will be deleted immediately once storage is no longer required. If statutory retention periods apply, processing of the data will be restricted instead of deletion.

C) Transfer of Personal Data in Other Cases
Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties in the following cases:

  • if you have given your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,

  • if the transfer is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-transfer of your data,

  • if there is a legal obligation for the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, or

  • if it is legally permissible and necessary pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the performance of contractual relationships.

3. Rights of Data Subjects

  • Right of Access: You may request information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR regarding your personal data processed by me.

  • Right to Object: You have the right to object for special reasons (see below).

  • Right to Rectification: If your information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR.

  • Right to Erasure: You may request the erasure of your personal data pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR.

  • Right to Restriction of Processing: You have the right under Art. 18 GDPR to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.

  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right under Art. 77 (1) GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority of your choice. This includes the competent supervisory authority for the controller: Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), see www.lda.bayern.de

Right to Object pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data. The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless compelling legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. The collection of data to provide the website and the storage of log files are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website.
